» In my stone solemn head

photo (by) FML'04The German dark rock band Golden Apes contributes an intriguing interpretation of the Green Is The Sea opener Red Valentino.

"... We wanted to arrange the original halftime into a moving wave-chorus, never getting out of mind to keep the seductions and yearnings we find in the moods 'Red Valentino' builds in our imaginations. So it became a real fulltime, with also open wave- and groovy rythm-guitars and, of course, a sensitive touchy and pathetic vocal-line ... " (Golden Apes)

Special thanks goes to Dirk W.

» Sur les toits de Paris

AATT will play an entirely acoustic performance on a rooftop in Paris overlooking the Sacre Coeur on 22.09.2008.
It is the first ever acustic concert of the band. No amplification, just acoustic guitar, double bass and voice.

No public tickets are available to buy for this familial performance. Only way for being among the few attending this unprecedented concert is to win one of the very limited tickets by answering a question at popnews.com

A random draw will be conducted among the correct answers.
    Best luck to all participating.

    » His Taurus Rage

photo (by) FML'04De Volanges from Belgian, a 'dark romantic rock band under psychedelic tension' did indulge themself in hours of improvisation around the main theme of Missing from the album Angelfish and around it's unshakeable bass guitar line ...
The result is an intense personal vision of the band you can enjoy now!

Thanks a lot to Renaud, Yvan and Enrico!

Please find the song in high quality and more infos here or take a straight listen on myspace.
Your feedback to the band is welcome as usual.

    » Vers le Nouveau Monde

Frédéric Truong - who did support And Also The Trees on their latest live show in Paris last year just has released his new album: Vers le Nouveau Monde. It features 13 new titles filled with tender, sombre and sunny atmospheres and deals with love, war, hope for peace and with years from another dimension that pass through. Happiness and suffering are intimately linked up forever.
Other musicians on this album are Laurent Esmez, Christophe Maltin among MECANO and many others guest artists...

The photographies are made by Jérôme Sevrette who also is responsible for the album cover of '(Listen for) The Rag and Bone Man'. He contributes to magnify the vision of a cruel and desolated world where Man no more expresses his feelings by his work. Highly recommended.

» She craves to swallow you

photo (by) FML'04Babel 17 contributes a new interpretation on the AATT classic Twilights Pool for 'Beyond The Horizon'.

The band thought that there was some chemical-Dub accents on the AATT's original and followed that angle to archive a huge sound in an Electro-Toxic-Dub direction with beeps & blops, groovy rythms, and strong basses while trying to keep the original spirit.

    «... We seek a different view ... A world that's fresh & new ... »

Thanks a lot to Jean and Franck!
